LOWA Sportschuhe GmbH manufactures high-quality outdoor and leisure footwear. The headquarters of the medium-sized company is located in Jetzendorf near Munich in Upper Bavaria.

What began in 1923 with a small production of handmade oat shoes, developed over the years into a company with a global reputation, whose products are now sold in around 80 countries. The traditional shoemaker stands for quality and fit and is one of the leading brands in the field of mountain and outdoor footwear in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company has been majority-owned by the Italian Tecnica Group since 1993.

As the lead agency, ADVERMA had the goal to stage the LOWA brand in a cross-media and impressive way and to create to create a holistic and emotional approach to the brand. Impressive brand communication should set a direction that will be remembered.

The 100 years LOWA anniversary book

The year 2023 marked a milestone in the history of LOWA: the shoe manufacturer celebrated its 100th anniversary. Reason enough to look back over the last 100 years and relive the company’s history. A book for this occasion must be personal, visually powerful and highly emotional. At the same time, it should be more than just a book, because it not only documents the history and development of the LOWA brand over the last 100 years, but also to tell of the experiences, technologies and enthusiasm for nature that have made LOWA what it is today.

As the lead agency, ADVERMA coordinated the entire process from the initial conceptual approaches to implementation through to the finished product.
