Kloster Scheyern
Promoting the economy and tourism in the region – that is the task of the Kommunalunternehmen Strukturentwicklung Landkreis Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm (KUS). In order to address interested parties in a contemporary way, the content, design and function of the websites are elementary for communication.
THE TASK
At the time of the tender, the KUS website covered the areas of economic development as well as leisure, recreation and tourism. However, as the respective areas address different target groups, the economic development website should be separated from the tourism website and continue to run as an independent website under a new domain.



The challenge
The previous website combined content for two completely different target groups under one domain target groups – and was also set up on a common technical basis. A new content and navigation structure had to be developed for the split, so that users can quickly find their way around the new sites. A sensible concept for transferring relevant content, including search engine optimization, was also required, in order to retain Google rankings for valuable redirects.

Our solution
The relaunch of the two new websites took place with a bang in a double pack. As a result, the content was still seamlessly accessible and users and search engines were satisfied . Adverma created a new technical basis separately for both websites, which enables separate (further) development. The customer was trained in the usability of the CMS and significantly involved in filling the website with content. This enabled both websites to go live successfully within the time and budget constraints of a relaunch.
